All payments are processed securely through StoreMyCar via Stripe. Guests pay the booking subtotal plus a 12% service fee at the time of booking. Hosts receive 88% of the subtotal as their payout after the guest checks in.
Yes. Every listing has a "Message Host" button so you can ask questions about the space, access, security, or anything else before committing. All communication happens through the StoreMyCar platform.
Each listing has a cancellation policy set by the host — flexible, moderate, or strict. Flexible listings allow free cancellation before check-in. You can cancel from your bookings page and any applicable refund is processed automatically.
You set your own daily, weekly, and monthly rates when creating your listing. You can update pricing at any time. We recommend checking comparable listings in your area to stay competitive. Weekly and monthly rates typically offer a discount.
StoreMyCar hosts provide a variety of security features including gated access, security cameras, and enclosed garages. You can also add optional insurance during booking for comprehensive coverage against damage, theft, and weather events.
Yes. You can request a booking extension at any time through the platform. The host reviews and approves the extension, and the additional charges are calculated automatically based on the listing's rates.
