StoreMyCar offers optional insurance plans that cover your vehicle during the storage period. You can add insurance during the booking process. We recommend all guests carry their own auto insurance as well.
Sign up for a free account, then click "List Your Space" to create a listing. Add photos, set your price, and describe your space. Once published, guests can find and book your space.
Earnings depend on your location, space type, and pricing. Hosts keep 88% of each booking. A garage in a major city can earn $200-600+/month with regular bookings.
You can list garages, driveways, carports, parking lots, underground parking, and warehouses. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are welcome.
Guests pay when booking through our secure payment system. Hosts receive their payout (88% of the booking subtotal) after the guest checks in. We handle all payment processing.
Each listing has its own cancellation policy set by the host: Flexible (full refund up to 24 hours before), Moderate (full refund up to 5 days before), or Strict (50% refund up to 7 days before).
Yes! Many hosts accommodate oversized vehicles like RVs and boats, as well as smaller vehicles like motorcycles. Filter by vehicle size when searching to find compatible spaces.
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive access instructions from the host. On your start date, check in through the app. When your booking ends, check out and the host will be notified.
StoreMyCar has a built-in messaging system. You can message any host from their listing page before booking, or communicate with your host/guest throughout the booking. All messages are kept within the platform for your records.
If a dispute arises between a guest and host — such as a disagreement about property condition or booking terms — either party can open a dispute through StoreMyCar. Our team will review the details and help mediate a fair resolution.
